The City of Chocolate

The City of Chocolate

Carrying on down the travel timeline, Brussels Belgium was the next stop after Paris. I call this city, the “City of Chocolate.” Why? Because they had so many chocolate shops! I swear I bought a chocolate from every shop I passed. My favorite though was definitely Godiva, their hot chocolate and chocolate covered strawberries were superb. Unlike Paris, Brussels was small to medium size. I think we walked almot the entire city. The architecture was so beautiful in the older parts of the city. It contains so much character and culture. Below are some photos and a video/photo diary of the trip. I figured making a video of the photos would be easier and more entertaining then having to scroll down the page! I hope you enjoy and get inspired to travel!

WE FELL IN LOVE IN PARIS

IMG_4778

France was my second country to travel to when I studied abroad. My husband and some of our friends decided to go to Paris, where some say it’s “The City of Lights” and others “The City of Love.” In my experience I would say it is the city of lights and love. My husband and I grew closer and definitely fell more in love with each other in the city of Paris. Everything about Paris was beautiful. Not just the architecture but the culture too. There are so many sights to see which will keep your travel schedule busy! I am not the kind of traveler who likes to only do touristic things. I love walking around the city and getting lost. Becoming lost is where the adventure begins, it is where you find the secrets of the city, the cute cafes and chocolate shops. My husband and I got lost the last night we were in Paris. We dicovered many beautiful places within Paris, finding ourselves back at the beautifully lit Eiffel Tower.

Eu amo caminhar pela cidade e me perder.

Paris offered many delights that filled me with Joy. I loved walking near the river and seeing tons of¬† artists selling their paintings. They were beautiful, of course I had to buy some. In every city I travel to, I always buy a set of coasters and in Paris, I did just that. It is cool to see them on my table, to remind us of all our adventures. It is also a great conversation starter ūüėČ One of the best things about Paris was the music on the street. We heard an amazing musician playing the Cello, I wish I could share with you!

So below I have my personal photos, so you can have a peek into my experience in Paris.

Obelisk of Luxor (Eu nunca vou esquecer deste lugar.

Upcoming Brazilian Brand: Scusi

As you all know I love fashion! I also love finding unique, one of a kind pieces to set me apart from the crowd. For 4 years now I have been following a new designer, Camilla Hellman, who has grown and blossomed into success. Her brand is called Scusi, a Brazilian brand. During 2016 she opened her first store in Curitiba, where she sells to many clients outside of Curitiba who sell them at their own store. I have seen many posts of socialites, tv presenters, and others wearing the brand Scusi. It is amazing to see how much it has grown and become what it is now. There is definitetly more to come for Scusi, I believe it is on the right track to success.

IMG-20180103-WA0016.jpgDown below you will see my gifts I received from Scusi. A pair of gold shorts, which are chic but also super comfy (yay!), and a gorgeous white blazer. There are also some more photos of Scusi designs so you can get a taste of the unique and chic brand.

Go Back to the Giddiness of Dating

Go Back to the Giddiness of Dating

With Felipe and I both having a busy work schedule we usually come home at the end of the day tired. Therefore we usually just watch some Netflix and then sleep. Lately though, I have been thinking about how adventurous and fun we used to be in our early 20’s, and how we are now like an old couple. We are only 25, I don’t want to be an old couple yet! So we decided to take some time for us and do something different with each other every week. It is important to spend quality time together, you can strengthen the relationship, remember why you fell in love, and be that young giddy couple again. I feel it brings the romance and butterflies in the stomach back to the relationship. For this post¬† I have some date outfit ideas and some ideas of where to go and what to do for dates.

Night at the Bar

20171229_130617.jpg

A simple tank top and some skinny jeans is my go to outfit for a night at the bar. It is simple but also a little flirtatious. Add some heels and your loved one will amazed. Who says you can’t be sexy because you are in a relationship, BE sexy! It will add some heat and bring back the feelings you got when you first started dating.

Casual Dinner Date

My husband and I love going to different restaurants and trying new places. We keep finding so many cute places in our city to go to. For this date, the weather was very hot, so I chose simple white shorts, and a black and white plaid shirt. To add some statement I used my yellow clutch and my classic signature of red lips. I aslo added yellow with my shoes. They are a slip on with a yellow bow, lately they have been my favorite summer shoe.

I have the habit of always having my hair up and like trying new ways to put it up. Here I decided to make a braided crown starting further over to make it more of a crown. If you are looking for a How To video check out my past blog post here.
