I love girls night because I can get dressed up, put some heels on and relax from a hectic week. Girls night means elegant dresses, hair done, some sexy eyes and lips and of course heels. Dressing up doesn’t mean trying to look pretty for others, but for your self. Even in my everyday style I dress for myself, and you should too! Here are our looks and inspiration for a girls night out. Also, big thank you to my girl Carine for doing my make-up beautifully, and for taking some photos with me, beijos.
I chose a simple grey dress with a little bling around the neck, which glammed it up a little. Since I chose nude heels I put a pop of color with my yellow clutch. To finish the look I added some rings and bracelets.
Essentials for the Look
Above are my essentials for my make up and for going out. I absolutely love Covergirl, I have tried so many different products and this is still my favorite. I love the feel of their makeup and you don’t have to pay hundreds of dollars (double yay!). The concealer by Covergirl’s ‘Ready Set Gorgeous’ is always in my purse. For me it’s great to dab a little over a blemish. I also use under my eyes and around my nose to even out my skin. Normally I also use the foundation from the same Covergirl line but sadly I ran out and Brazil doesn’t sell! (I am still searching to find a site that will ship here). To replace my favorite foundation I have been using a corrector cream from Mary Kay. So far I like it! It goes on smooth and evens out my skin tone giving a flawless natural look. I definitely recommend this.
For my eyes I don’t have the products used in the photos but I put a pallet that was close to what my girlfriend used. (She is amazing at eyes!) Here I have one from Maybelline which I normally use for going out, it’s great for making your Smokey eye, or to make your eyes pop. I also have been using mascara from Mary Kay. I like the product and will use until it’s done, but I still love Maybelline’s Cat Eye mascara much better.
To finish the look we put blush and lipstick. And again you can see I used Covergirl. I like the tone of this blush and it adds perfect color to my complexion. For my lips, my girlfriend used a deep purple. The NYX one above is identical to the ones in the photos. I usually mix the Kate Rimmel London and the NYX, because a)it stays on better because NYX isn’t the greatest quality, and b) it adds some pink tones so it’s not so goth like.
I included one of my favorite clutches to use for a night out, with some simple jewelry to glam up the look and one of my favorite cream perfumes from Dior. This one is the sample and has lasted so long. You only need just a tiny bit because it is strong. It seriously smells so yummy!!
Here my girlfriend is wearing a blue dress, which compliments her complexion perfectly. She went with a sequenced clutch, but you could also switch for a pop of color.
